Shake It - Metro Station

Shake It - Metro Station

Let's Drop!
(Yeah)(Come On)(Shake, shake)
I'll take you home if you don't leave me at the front door
(leave me at the front door)
Your body's cold, but girl we're getting so warm
And I was thinking of ways that I could get inside
(get inside)
Tonight you're falling in love
(let me go now)
This feeling's stirring me up
(here we go now)
Now if she does it like this, will you do it like that
Now if she touches like this, will you touch her right back
Now if she moves like this, will you move it like that
(come on)
Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake, uh shake it
Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake, uh shake it
Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake, uh shake it
Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake, uh shake it
Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake, uh shake it
Your lips tremble but your eyes are in a straight stare
(eyes are in a straight stare)
You're on the bed but your clothes are laying right there
And I was thinking of places that I could hide
(i could hide)
Tonight you're falling in love
(let me go now)
This feeling's stirring me
(here we go now)
Well I saw you dancing and I couldn't get you off my mind
(I could tell that you could tell that I was taking my time)
I was thinking of ways that you would stay and be mine
(Your body's shaking, turn me on, so I can turn off the lights)

Play-A-Day (Day ??)

While the stage is dark a voice is head from center stage where a single spotlight appears.

Man
Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to Dancing Through the ages! I'll be your host tonight as we delve into the history of dance and it's evolution. Now for our first stage of dance we have the whoha!

Lights go up on a seperate part of the stage where prehistoric men and woman are chanting going in a circle around a fire. They chant Who, who ha ha, who who.

What a marvelous show they put on. Thankyou thankyou

Lights fade from the circle

How was that. Some good old ancient moves for you there. Now what do we have coming next.

Lights up on a large group of people in Toga's. They are all drinking and have been drinking heavily as there are cups scattered around the group. They all walk randomly and bump into each other. After a while one falls with a knife in his back and someone screams. Lights fade

Wow! enough of that i guess. See folks it's not just today we get carried away with dancing. Up next is from the times of kings and emporers.

Lights up on a grotesquely over dressed woman with hair as big as she is and a dress that is made of dozens of colors with the most delicate care. With her is also an equally grotesque man who is as round as he is tall and at his side is a gargantuan sword which he can't even lift. His crown is enormous. The man and woman both hold mascerade masks to their face and merely take side steps in front of each other and at times also switch sides. Lights fade

The art of kings ladies and gentlemen! Not very delightful if I do say so myself. Finally we have only two times left to view dancing from. Next is from the good ol U S of A.

Lights up on a group of men with banjos. They are all sitting on barrels playing their Banjos with one man in the middle clicking his feet on the group and bobbing up and down. After a minute one yells "Yeeha!!" Lights fade

Well there's good ol america for you. Now finally the pinacle of dance evolution. Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the "Shake"

Lights up on a teenage boy who is standing alone on stage and to all he appears an average kid. Then he bursts out in yelling "Shake shake oh yeah shake it!" and repeats it over and over and over again. He at the same time randomly moves his body about without any organized manor. Lights fade

Well ladies and gentlemen there you have the greatest dances of the ages. I thankyou for you're time and wish you all a wonderful night and safe drive home. Remember to "shake it"

Lights fade
