From Yesterday - 30 Seconds To Mars

From Yesterday - 30 Seconds To Mars

He's a stranger to some
And a vision to none
He can never get enough,
Get enough of the one

For a fortune he'd quit
But it's hard to admit
How it ends and begins
On his face is a map of the world
(A map of the world)
On his face is a map of the world
(A map of the world)
From yesterday, it's coming!
From yesterday, the fear!
From yesterday, it calls him
But he doesn't want to write the message yet

On a mountain he sits, not of gold but of shit
through the blood he can look, see the life that he took
From the council of one
He'll decide what he's done with the innocent

On his face is a map of the world
(A map of the world)
On his face is a map of the world
(A map of the world)

From yesterday, it's coming!
From yesterday, the fear!
From yesterday, it calls him
But he doesn't want to write the message
He doesn't want to write the message
Doesn't want to write the message yet

On his face is a map of the world

From yesterday, it's coming!
From yesterday, the fear!
From yesterday, it calls him
But he doesn't want to write the message yet
From yesterday,
From yesterday,
From yesterday, the fear
From yesterday,
From yesterday
But he doesn't want to read the message
But he doesn't want to read the message
But he doesn't want to read the message here

Play-A-Day (Day 7)

Lights up on a room full of the worlds riches. From golden statues to crowns and golden jewelery. A man sits upon a throne. He remains there haphazardly with one of the largest crowns within the room upon his head. It sits upon his head crooked and nearly falling off. In his hand is a bottle, nearly empty, of liquor. Suddenly a arrow flies from offstage with the sound of a window shattering. The man moves to the window and gasps in horror at the sight before him and quickly runs away from the window and more arrows fly towards him, this time flaming. He moves to the original arrow which has a scroll attached to it. The man reads it out loud

Man
[Reading the scroll. With disgust] No longer shall your greed and oppression hold down the people of this kingdom. While your vaults have flowed with rivers of gold the people have starved on cold streets. No more will your blindness towards the people go unnoticed. With your head upon a spike on the city gate it shall serve as a warning to the next who would call himself savior and king. [No longer reading having thrown down the scroll] Ha! we'll see what you peasants shall do against the walls of my citadel! I'm a god you fools. A god!

Banging is then heard at a door and then its breaking down. This continues to happen getting louder and louder until it is at the chamber which the man is in and his door is burst down and men come streaming in surrounding the man.

Man
[Completely out of touch with reality] I am a god you fools! Bow before me else I cast a curse upon each of you!

One man steps forward with his sword raised and as the "god" continues his ranting swings at the mans head. Lights fade
